The italian composer Ludovico Einaudi is commonly known for his minimalistic pieces for piano, mostly accompanied by an orchestra. In his composition Night a base rythm in the vibraphone is repeated during the entire work. Extensive melodies take the listener away to two diligent climaxes. In this arrangement, the piano part is written in mallet instruments.
