Hi there, nice to see you at my website. My name is Rob Sloetjes, I live in the Netherlands. One of my hobbies is playing music, at the picture below on the french horn, but nowadays on the tuba. My other hobby is arranging for concert band and that is probably why you are here.
I started arranging during my study Civil Engineering. As an organizer for a regional youth orchestra it bothered me that we couldn’t play many pieces because they were not arranged for concert band. Sometimes there were arrangements available, but lacking the original sound of the orchestral scores. Therefore I decided to arrange them myself, although I wasn’t educated as arrranger. In my professional life, I am Lead Engineer in high and medium voltage energy systems.
